Band Expo Volunteers, Saturday October 26 (1 pt for each hour worked)
The Capital City Band Expo is fast approaching! The Sanderson High School Band Program relies heavily on volunteers from the many Sanderson High School Student Service Organizations to make this annual event a success. With 12 marching bands already registered to participate, we know the campus will be packed with visitors that day. You can imagine the volunteer hours that will need to be filled! We hope that Sanderson's Student Council can help!
Volunteers will be working in the following areas:
Concessions, Parking, Gate Monitors, Field Managers, Quiet Sign Monitors, Staging Rooms, Water Stations, … and lots more!
There is particular need for extra volunteers in the afternoon between 2:30 - 7 pm, when SHS Marching Band students leave their posts to perform and eat dinner. If you can work a shift during those hours, we would greatly appreciate the help!
Personal perks: Volunteers who work 4+ hours will receive a wrist band for access to the show later in the day. In addition, those who work for 8+ hours will receive a free meal ticket to be used at the concession stand. We also offer signed credit for volunteer service hours to those who participate in programs that require documentation, such as through a service organization, for example.
Please complete the Student Volunteer Registration form through the link below, one time per volunteer. While we cannot guarantee a specific job, we will try to accommodate areas of interest on a first-come, first-served basis if you care to list your preferences in the “comments” section of the form.
Please allow about 30 minutes prior to the start of your shift to find parking and to sign in. More specific instructions will be sent before the event to those who have registered.
Thank you for your support of the Sanderson HS Band Program! We appreciate your help!
